AA’S CORPORATION PROJECTS FEATURED IN THE CONDE NAST TRAVELER’S 2013 HOT LIST
AA Corporation is proud to announce that four luxury hotel projects, which our company completed in 2012, have been named to the 2013 Conde Nast Traveler Hot List. Conde Nast Traveler selects the best new hotels to open annually and compiles a list of these properties which is termed the “Hot List”. Included within this distinct group of hotels are projects that are located in four different countries around the world and managed by four different hotel operators. The list includes the InterContinental Sun Peninsula Danang Resort in Vietnam, The St. Regis Mauritius Resort in Mauritius, The Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach Reserve in Puerto Rico and finally the South Place Hotel in England. InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort
This 5 star luxury resort is located within a private bay on the Sun Peninsula and serves as a reclusive retreat just outside of Danang, Vietnam. The resort was designed by world famous interior designer Bill Bensley, who personally contributed work on multiple projects on this years hot list. For this project AA Corporation completed all interior fit out, millwork and loose furniture products throughout the entire hotel. It is safe to say that all furniture products, custom designed by Bill Bensley for this project, were produced in the AA Corporation manufacturing facility. The resort has received rave reviews since opening in 2012 and continues to garner international recognition for excellence.
St. Regis Mauritius Resort
The St. Regis Mauritius Resort opened in late 2012 and immediately became one of the premier resorts in all of Mauritius. Located on the white sands of Le Morne Beach the St. Regis Mauritius boasts 172 guest room and suites, all of which possess breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. The tropical island feel flows through the property that incorporates a traditional colonial decor along with interiors the compliment local indigenous styles. For this luxury resort, AA Corporation custom manufactured all furniture for the rooms and suites as well as nearly all public area furniture for the project.
Dorado Beach, Ritz Carlton Reserve
Ritz Carlton Reserve is a new ultra luxury brand, delivering elevated service with environmental sensibility in one-of-a-kind locations. Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is a unique hotel befitting its setting. Envisioned by a team of acclaimed architects and designers including Wilson Associates and Bensley Design Studios the hotel opened late 2012 on the footprint of Laurance S. Rockefeller’s original RockResort, surrounded by Rockefeller’s incredible “Great Park.” AA Corporation provided custom furniture to this project, manufacturing various items for the hotel rooms and public areas.
South Place Hotel
The South Place Hotel is a brand new, 80 bedroom, luxury hotel located in the City of London and is the first hotel from famed restauranteurs D&D London. The hotel which includes 2 restaurants, 3 bars and 5 private dining rooms, has been designed by world renowned architects Conran Design Studio and offers contemporary luxury in a boutique setting. For this project AA Corporation supplied both loose furniture and joinery products for the hotel rooms and public areas.
