AA CORPORATION CONTRACTED TO EXECUTE THE RENOVATION OF INTERCONTINENTAL DA NANG RESORT

Located among 39 hectares of Son Tra Peninsula’s natural forest overlooking the breathtaking Da Nang beach, the InterContinental Da Nang Sun Peninsula Resort is undergoing a series of renovations in order to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Launched in 2012, the resort was developed carefully to minimize the ecological impact to the surrounding nature, preserving the exotic plants and endangered animal of the peninsula. The same approach will continue in the resort’s renovation, which will be carried out by Bill Bensley and his team again.

“When I first conceived InterContinental Danang I delved into the local architectural vernacular, taking my favorite elements from the country’s temples and palaces and creating an ode to Vietnam with a modern twist. Now that we are refreshing the resort, we are looking at the natural vernacular: what Mother Nature gave us. My goal is to be a steward to the creatures who live here, and particularly to champion the endangered species of Vietnam,” Bensley said.

In 2010, AA Corporation commenced work for the first time on the InterContinental Da nang Sun Peninsula Resort, contracted to complete the interior fit-out, built-in and loose furniture for public areas as well as all guestrooms. This year, AA Corporation once again cooperates with the client and designer to execute the renovation of the hotel, refreshing the Reception building and 4 S2 villas.
