LUNG VAI PRIMARY SCHOOL PROJECT IN HA GIANG PROVINCE

In Febuary 2020, in order to honor the 40th “Vi Xuyen’s victory” celebration and participate in the remote rural schools construction program – an initiative founded by former President Nguyen Tan Sang. Together with Vi Xuyen Educational Department, AA Corporation had carried out the groundbreaking ceremony for the Lung Vai Primary school.

The school was designed by Architect Hoang Thuc Hao from 1 + 1 > 2 architectural firm. The idea is to use local materials as well as labors, promoting the values of joining hands from people of Lung Vai town to build a school for their children.

Mrs Dang Thi Phuong, deputy chief of Vi Xuyen district highly praised this project in particular, saying that it would be a great value for the community, most of whom are ethnic minorities with low income: “The people, teachers and students here are very excited to see the 3D rendering of the school, like a beautiful park, the teachers would love their job even more, and we will continue to make this town a tourist destination.”

This school building project is a really meaning full program that AA Corporation would like to contribute to the community as part of our Social responsibility, especially to remote rural areas where life is still difficult and secluded from civilization. The key point of this project is to combine local materials into the building itself with the lending hands of local people. On the other hand, AA Corporation will donate and call for donations for the school’s activities in the future, hoping to spread this program to other provinces with the sponsor of more businesses and more people.

Note: Affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, there were some delays in the construction of the school. However, as soon as the government lifted the social distancing rules, the construction quickly started again and will soon be completed.
