AA CORPORATION COMPLETED DUSITD2 YARKAY THIMPHU HOTEL

DusitD2 Yarkay Thimphu hotel, the first and largest international-branded hotel in Thimphu, operated by leading Asian hospitality group Dusit International, was opened on 19 December 2018. The hotel was developed by Yarkay Group Private Limited, featuring 83 guest rooms and suites, a Thai-inspired spa, fully equipped fitness center and an international all day dining restaurant. DusitD2 Yarkey hotel’s modern architecture highlights local Bhutanese design elements, inspired from the Four Harmonious Friends, a beloved national folktale about four animals working together to harvest fruit from a magical tree. The second DusitD2 hotel is expected to be open soon in Punakha, a location 3 hours away from Thimphu in 2019. AA Corporation has completed the contract to provide interior fit out, millwork and loose furniture for the DusitD2 Yarkey Thimphu hotel.
