AA Corporation was awarded built-in and loose furniture package for ITC Grand Chola, one of the most luxury hotels owned by ITC Hotels. This is also a second project that AA Corporation has cooperated with India Exports.
Situated in Chennai, a major commercial, a cultural and educational center in South India located on the Coromandel Coast off the Bay of Bengal, ITC Grand Chola is built with inspiration from the traditional Hindu architecture of the Chola Dynasty. ITC Grand Chola is a 600 – room five-star luxury business hotel that includes 522 rooms and 78 service high-end apartments.
In addition, ITC Hotels is actively committed to maintaining a greener and healthier environment. The guiding principle of ITC is “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”. Each hotel was a pioneer to create awareness among employees through energy-saving gadgets and environment-friendly material.
Designed by Singapore-based SRSS Architects, this property is a mixed-use development with three separate wings and is themed after the traditional Dravidian Architecture of the Chola Dynasty. The hotel has been branded as a “Luxury Collection” property under the Starwood hotel management group and consists of 600 rooms, 522 of which are hotel rooms and 78 are serviced apartments. AA Corporation provided all furniture and built-in (doors, wardrobes, vanities, panels) for the 78 serviced apartments.
