AA Corporation recognizes our important role as a leader in the wood products industry. Furthermore as a global citizen and a company that depends on the long-term sustainability of timber and veneer sources, we have made an internal commitment to take utmost due care in complying with both the Lacey Act of the United States and the FLEGT of the EU. In order to fully comply with these regulations of timber legality in our products exported to these markets, we invited an international expert to train all managers and key employees of the whole company on global compliance codes. The training was conducted by Mr. Eberhart Goetz, Senior Technical Advisor to HAWA, on 20 July 2010.
