CURRENT TRENDS OF WOOD MANUFACTURING IN VIETNAM

On July 17th, 2009, the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCM (HAWA) organized a visit to AA Corporation’s Manufacturing Division in Duc Hoa, Long An Province. During the visit, HAWA conducted a conference with topic “Current Trends of Wood Manufacturing in Vietnam.”

Over 50 HAWA members attended. The tour of AA’s factory helped all of the members understand the process of furniture manufacturing. The conference was led by Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang (Chairman of HAWA) and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh (Chairman of AA Corporation & Vice Chairman of HAWA).

The meeting focused on how to help all members of HAWA to orient the development of Vietnam’s wood industry as well as handicraft for domestic and overseas markets in the near future.
