AA CORPORATION HAS RECENTLY COMPLETED A PROJECT TO PROVIDE FURNITURE FOR THE BAYAN PALACE IN KUWAIT

AA Corporation, in conjunction with our strategic partner David Salmon Furniture, has recently completed a project to provide furniture for the Bayan Palace in Kuwait. The Bayan Palace is the main palace for the Amir of Kuwait and is used for international conferences and large ceremonies. On January 19-20, 2009 the Bayan Palace will play host to the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, in which all Middle East countries will participate. The event is being held at the Bayan Palace and all delegates will reside within the Royal Palace during their stay in Kuwait.

Furniture for the Bayan Palace was ordered at the beginning of November and AA Corporation was given 7 weeks to produce all items in time for the Arab Economic Summit. The order consisted of loose furniture to be used in the various guest suites, which are located within the Palace. In addition, AA Corporation completed all furniture that would be used during the economic meeting between the Middle East heads of state. AA Corporation produced the main conference table to be used in the Bayan Palace, a table that spans more than 25 meters in diameter. All seating and smaller tables were customized to fit the layout of the Bayan Palace and this furniture will serve a variety of functions for years to come.

In order to meet the customer’s demands and ensure the furniture arrived in Kuwait in time for the Economic Summit, AA Corporation mobilized two 747 planes to charter the furniture via air shipment. These shipments departed from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Saigon on December 26th and 27th and arrived in Kuwait one day later. AA Corporation sent numerous trained employees to the Bayan Palace in order to help assist in the setup and assembly of all furniture for the summit. All items have now been prepared ahead of schedule and will be used to host the various international delegates attending the economic summit.
