Information technology has had a deep impact on the global enconomy, how business is conducted and the demand for commodities and services.
To capitalize on this trend, AA Corporation signed a deal in February 2008 to purchase the copyright for SAP software and will team up with Global CyberSoft Vietnam to deploy the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. With investments to the sum of 1 miillion USD, the first phase of the ERP project will wrap-up in the fourth quarter of this year, while the second phase is expected to finish in the second quarter of 2009.
Nguyen Quoc Khanh, general director of AA, said that implementing the SAP ERP solution has always been a part of the company's long-term development strategy. "We hope it will help our company effectively strengthen and manage all activities to meet customer demands and bring satisfaction for our global clients," he added.
For the next two years, AA Corporation's demand and development strategy entails many multi-million dollar investment projects including a wood processing production line and a 12-hectare workshop expansion project in Long An Province. The company is also developing a wood manufacturing line in Dong Nai and expanding their Nha Xinh and Belavita retail furniture.

AA Deco is a luxury brand consisting of custom-made furniture and interior decoration solutions. Last year, the company introduced the Bellavita brand to the market, which incorporates premium quality with modern design.
FURNITURE EXPORT
Furniture export is the company's most rapidly growing division. AA supplies furniture for customers in Europe, the U.S and Japan.
