AA Corporation is proud to announce that our very own Mr. Nguyen Van Truong has recently won first place in the HAWA Furniture Design Showcase 2009. Truong entered his original design entitled "Dark Diamond" and is now the second AA Corporation staff in two years that has won first prize in the HAWA Furniture Design Showcase. In addition, AA Corporation had another designer receive awards for their designs. Mr. Lam Minh Hai won the award for most functional design, for his bench design, which was called "Wait" chair.

The winning product design, Dark Diamond, is a chair that incorporates squared lines and angles, accentuating the product silhouette and creating the look of a diamond top. The chair utilizes a dark finish color, hence creating the product name "dark diamond". The most creative feature of the product is the parachute string. The back and seat combine the use of this parachute string, which provides support to the user and adds an additional level of comfort.
