AA Corporation was founded in 1990 and officially incorporated in 1993 by a group of architects lead by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh and Mr. Le Thanh Toan, initially focusing primarily on the interior design and contracting business. The name AA stands for Advanced Architecture and implies the desire of applying contemporary architecture to AA's interior design projects. The founders' vision of combining the best of modern architecture from around the world with Vietnamese culture and architecture can still be seen in AA’s various interior design projects today.

In 1998, AA began to participate in bids for overseas interior design contracts and won its first overseas contract for the interior design, supply of furniture and renovation of rooms of the Hilton Colombo Hotel in Sri Lanka.

Since AA has received the confidence of many prestigious clients around the world through various projects ranging from hotels, resorts, restaurants, serviced apartments, villas, offices and entertainment centers.

1999 was a mile stone year for AA when it exported its first OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) furniture shipment to Japan and successfully launched the " Jadora " brand name for its ODM (Original Design Manufacture) furniture for export to Japan, Europe and the US. In 1999, AA also started to market its standardized furniture to the urban middle-to-upper class market in Vietnam under the brand name " Nha Xinh ".

In 2003, AA won the Vietnam High Quality Product award based on customer surveys and was one of three furniture companies to win the Vietnam Golden Star Award issued by the Vietnam Young Business Association.

Also in 2003, AA received an investment from the prestigious Mekong Enterprise Fund, known for its demanding requirements regarding the management capabilities and track records of achievements of the companies in which it invests. Since then, AA has started a fruitful cooperation with Mekong Capital, the company that manages the Mekong Enterprise Fund.
